EPIC has been trusted to provide the POB, mustering and evacuation system for Bibby Marine Services next generation WaveMaster Horizon, due Q3 2019.

This second vessel in the fleet builds on successful design for the deployment and retention of offshore support and maintenance engineers in the renewables environment. The vessel enables offshore wind operators to work more efficiently, more safely and in maximum comfort, for periods of up to 30 days at a time. EPIC’s approach fits perfectly with Bibby’s, “Work Safe Live Safe” ethos, tracking personnel over multiple sites to support well routed work flow and the crucial resolution of “who’s missing?” in an emergency.

EPIC also supplied its Smart-Trac system for Bibby’s WaveMaster 1, commissioned in April 2019. A highly successful contract in the Dutch North Sea sets the scene for new vessels in the future.
