Posco lets FEED contract for Shwe Ph...

Posco International Corp. (formerly Posco Daewoo) has let a front-end engineering and design contract to McDermott International Inc. for Shwe Phase 3 gas field development offshore Myanmar. McDermott values the contract at $1-50 million.

Work includes FEED services for a compression platform, a bridge link, and modifications in existing platform. Beginning in this year’s third quarter, the work will be undertaken in Kuala Lumpur and is scheduled for completion in second quarter 2020.

Shwe field is 70 km offshore Myanmar.
