塞浦路斯准备在年底前签署天然气供应合同

据世界能源新闻11月28日消息称，塞浦路斯能源部长Yiorgos Lakkotrypis表示，该国将签署一份合同，在今年年底前向国内市场供应天然气。

他说:“我们的目标是在2021年底前完成必要的基础设施开发项目，以及塞浦路斯市场的用于发电的天然气供应流程。”

他表示，天然气基础设施公司(Etyfa)正就签署首个投标人进行磋商，争取在今年底前敲定合同。

关于该项目，他补充说，预计将在24个月内完成。EAC持有Etyfa 30%的股份。

6月4日，天然气公众公司（Defa）发布了供应商预选程序，可以是基于长期合同提供天然气数量，或在两个或多个协议的基础上，通过立即交付购买方式供应天然气。截止到9月6日，也就是最后期限，已有25家公司表达了他们的兴趣。

在上周五于总统府举行的一次会议上，消息人士说，塞浦路斯总统Nicos Anastasiades明确表示，尽管Aktor被排除在合资企业之外，引发了一些问题，但Defa必须推进在塞浦路斯提供天然气的程序。

在欧洲投资银行决定从2022年起停止为包括天然气在内的化石燃料新项目提供资金之后，周五的会议旨在加快进程。塞浦路斯正寻求欧洲投资银行为该项目提供约1.5亿欧元的资金。

Cyprus poised to sign natural gas supply contract by year’s end

Cyprus is set to sign a contract to supply natural gas to the domestic market by the end of the year, Energy Minister Yiorgos Lakkotrypis said.

“The aim is to complete the development project for the necessary infrastructure and the natural gas provision process in the Cypriot market for the electricity production purposes by the end of 2021,” he said.

The Natural Gas Infrastructure Company (Etyfa) is in consultations to sign the first bidder in attempts to finalise the contract by the end of the year, he said.

Referring to the project, he added that it is expected to be completed within 24 months. EAC has a 30 per cent shareholding in Etyfa.

On June 4, the Natural Gas Public Company (Defa) published a preselection of suppliers procedure either for the supply of natural gas quantities align="justify">During a meeting last Friday at the presidential palace, sources said President Nicos Anastasiades made it clear that Defa must go ahead with the procedures for the provision of natural gas in Cyprus, despite problems which have arisen by the exclusion of Aktor from the joint venture.
