GS能源将在越南建设液化天然气发电厂

据韩国民报11月28日报道，韩国 GS 集团旗下主营能源开发业务的GS Energy公司在周四表示，该公司与越南私募股权投资机构VinaCapital签署了一项协议，将在越南建设一座液化天然气发电厂。

通过合作伙伴关系，两家公司将在越南南部地区建设一个额定容量为3千兆瓦的巨型液化天然气发电厂。通过与越南国有电力公司签订的购电协议，该发电厂的所有电力将在全国范围内供应。

周四，GS能源公司总裁Huh Yong-soo和VinaCapital首席执行官Don Lam出席了在首尔君悦大酒店举行的谅解备忘录签署仪式。

GS表示，在液化天然气开发，液化天然气交易和液化天然气收购业务领域的经验积累，让他们获得了“液化天然气价值链”的商业诀窍。

该公司表示，基于电力业务运作的专业知识，希望能为越南解决电力短缺问题。

GS Energy signs deal to build LNG power plant in Vietnam

GS Energy, the energy unit of GS Group, said Thursday that it has signed a deal with Vietnam’s VinaCapital to build a liquefied natural gas power plant there.

Through the collaborative partnership, the two firms will build a megasized LNG power plant with total capacity of 3 gigawatts in the southern region of Vietnam. All electricity generated from this power plant will be provided nationwide via a power purchase agreement with Vietnam’s state-run power company Vietnam Electricity.
