加拿大Zenith将收购英国Coro在意上游天然气业务

据全球天然气新闻2019年12月3日伦敦报道，加拿大Zenith能源公司时下正在关注欧洲上游天然气行业的显著增长，Zenith能源公司周二表示，该公司已经同意收购在英国上市的Coro能源公司在意大利的上游天然气业务。

Zenith能源公司在意大利已拥有一家小型天然气企业，目前也在阿塞拜疆的石油部门开展业务，但Zenith能源公司希望扩大其天然气生产活动。

Canada's Zenith to buy Italian upstream gas business of UK's Coro

Canada's Zenith Energy -- which is eyeing significant growth in the European upstream gas sector -- said Tuesday it has agreed to buy the Italian gas business of UK-listed Coro Energy.

Zenith, which already has a small Italian gas business, is also operational in the oil sector in Azerbaijan, but wants to expand its gas production activities.

"Consolidation of our Italian portfolio will strengthen Zenith's credentials as a gas producer to support the acquisition of additional gas production assets in other regions, including Norway," Zenith said.

The Coro acquisition -- valued at up to Eur4 million -- will add "material production" to Zenith's existing Italian operations, it said.

This, it said, would result in the creation of a "significantly enlarged, revenue generating, low-risk production and exploration portfolio."
