Neptune能源北海项目签订3080万英镑钻井合同

据12月3日Energy Voice报道，Neptune Energy及其合作伙伴为其在英国北海的5000万桶“Seagull”项目提供了价值3080万英镑的钻井服务合同。

Neptune hands out drilling deals worth £30.8m for North Sea project

Neptune Energy and partners have dished out drilling services contracts worth £30.8 million for its 50 million barrel Seagull project in the UK North Sea.

US oilfield services giant Halliburton will supply equipment from its base in Arbroath for Seagull, which is expected to come align="justify">Schlumberger Oilfield UK and its M I Drilling Fluids subsidiary, both of which have a presence in the north-east, have won deals to provide various services to Neptune.

All of the deals run for three years, with two align="justify">Neptune made a final investment decision in March align="justify">Seagull will be tied back to BP’s Etap central processing facility and is expected to produce 50,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day over 10 years.

Gas from Seagull will come align="justify">Neptune operates Seagull and bought its 35% stake in the project from Apache last year.

Its partners are BP, with 50%, and Japex, with 15%.

On the contract awards, Neptune project manager Shona Campbell, said: “The Seagull development is hugely important for Neptune and underlines our commitment to growing our operations in the UK North Sea.
