阿曼石油将在2021年前出售20%-25%的股份

据12月5日Kallanish Energy报道，阿曼能源部长鲁米（Mohamed Al-Rumhy）周三表示，阿曼计划在明年年底前出售20%-25%的股份。据悉，该公司正在考虑在可能的上市程序之前进行首次私募。

Oman Oil to sell 20-25% of its shares by 2021

Oman is planning to sell 20-25% of it state-owned Oman Oil Co. by the end of next year, the country’s energy minister, Mohamed Al Rumhy, said Wednesday.

Speaking to reporters at an industry event in Dubai, the minister said Oman Oil is considering an initial private placement of shares ahead of a potential listing process, Kallanish Energy learns.

The initial public offering (IPO) would follow in the steps of Saudi Aramco, although the Omani company is planning an international listing.

“Oman Oil is thinking (of) a group of companies to go private. By (the end of next year), the process will be completed,” Al Rumhy said, adding financial advisors have already been assigned.

The minister also said Oman plans to invest roughly $20 billion in downstream over the next five years, and oil ministers in the Gulf are “in consensus” about extending the current Opec+ pact.

“We’ve never discussed price, but we want stability, we want to remove the volatility in the market,” he said.

Al Rumhy will meet his counterparts in Vienna today and tomorrow for a number of meetings to discuss the future of their coordinated production reduction action.
