苏里南发现包含3亿桶石油和1万多亿方天然气

据今日石油2020年1月12日报道，英国全球著名能源咨询集团伍德麦肯兹（W M）表示，根据其对上周宣布的苏里南海上发现可能包含数亿桶石油和一万多亿立方英尺天然气的估计，这是一个重要的可以使这个南美洲国家成为下一个石油繁荣国家的发现。

伍德麦肯兹的Luiz Hayum与其同事在最近的一份报告中说，他们估计Maca Central-1油田的第一个发现包含3亿桶石油、1.5亿桶凝析油和1.4万亿立方英尺天然气。

在此之前，埃克森美孚公司自2015年以来在圭亚那海岸外海域迄今共发现了60多亿桶油当量。伍德麦肯兹说，这是过去5年来最重大的勘探成功。由埃克森美孚公司牵头的开发斯塔布鲁克区块的国际财团在去年12月投产了该区块的第一口产油井，并有望在2025年前实现日产75万桶的目标。

UK-based global energy consultancy group Wood Mackenzie says based align="justify">WoodMac’s Luiz Hayum and colleagues estimate that the first discovery at Maka Central-1 contains 300 million barrels of oil, 150 million barrels of condensate and 1.4 trillion cubic feet of gas, the consultancy group said in a recent report.

This follows ExxonMobil’s discovery of more than 6 billion barrels of oil equivalent off the coast of Guyana since 2015, which WoodMac says has been the most significant exploration success of the past five years. The ExxonMobil-led consortium developing the Stabroek block also started production from its first wells there in December and is align="justify">WoodMac says Suriname may well be align="justify">“We are very pleased with results from Maka Central-1. The well proves a working hydrocarbon system in the first two play types within Block 58 and confirms our geologic model with oil and condensate in shallower zones and oil in deeper zones,” John J. Christmann, Apache CEO and President said last week.
