康菲石油在北海获得石油和天然气发现

据1月14日Offshore Energy报道，康菲石油公司(ConocoPhillips)已经完成了在北海Balder油田附近的探井钻探，并且发现了小规模的石油和天然气。

名为Enniberg的25/7-8井位于917号生产许可证范围，康菲石油公司是该许可证的运营商。这口油井位于北海中部的Balder油田西北约10公里处，斯塔万格以西200公里处。

康菲石油早在2019年9月就获得了使用Leiv Eiriksson钻井平台的许可，并在2019年10月获得了钻井许可证。

ConocoPhillips in minor oil and gas discovery in North Sea

Oil and gas major ConocoPhillips has concluded the drilling of a wildcat well near the Balder field in the North Sea, which resulted in a minor oil and gas discovery.

The wildcat well 25/7-8 S, named Enniberg, is located in production license 917 where ConocoPhillips is the operator. The well was drilled about 10 kilometers northwest of the Balder field in the central part of the North Sea, and 200 kilometers west of Stavanger.

ConocoPhillips received consent to drill the well using the Leiv Eiriksson rig back in September 2019 and a drilling permit for the well in October 2019.

According to the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate’s update align="justify">In the primary exploration target, the well encountered several oil and gas-bearing intervals with independent columns. In the Nansen Formation there is a total of 28 meters of sandstone with good reservoir quality, of which 5 meters are oil-bearing.
