美国天然气产量与需求将在2021年下降

据哈特能源3月11日消息，美国能源情报署(EIA) 3月11日在其《短期能源展望》(STEO)中表示，美国天然气产量和需求预计在今年创下历史新高后，将在2021年下降。

EIA将3月份的STEO更新推迟了一天发布，以反映近期全球油价的下跌。

EIA预计，2021年干气产量将降至926.1亿立方英尺/天，低于2020年创纪录的952.8亿立方英尺/天。目前的最高纪录是2019年的922.4亿立方英尺/天。这将是自2016年以来产量首次出现年度下降。

EIA还预计，美国天然气日消费量将从2020年的872.7亿立方英尺降至2021年的856.1亿立方英尺，主要原因是可再生能源发电量增加导致电力需求的减少。目前的最高纪录是2019年的每日849.7亿立方英尺。这将是自2017年以来消费首次出现年度下降。

US Natgas Output, Demand To Fall In 2021 After Hitting Records

U.S. natural gas production and demand will decline in 2021 after hitting record highs this year, the Energy Information Administration (EIA) said in its Short Term Energy Outlook (STEO)>EIA delayed the release of the March STEO update by>EIA projected dry gas production will fall to 92.61 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d) in 2021 from a forecast record 95.28 Bcf/d in 2020. The current all-time high is 92.24 Bcf/d in 2019.

That would be the first annual decline in production since 2016.

EIA also projected U.S. gas consumption would fall to 85.61 Bcf/d in 2021 from a forecast record 87.27 Bcf/d in 2020 due mostly to reduced power demand as renewables produce more electricity. The current all-time high is 84.97 Bcf/d in 2019.

That would be the first annual decline in consumption since 2017.
