美国3月苯乙烯合约价格暴跌

据ICIS网站4月3日休斯顿报道 因疫情 影响需求以及上游苯成本暴跌，美国3月苯乙烯合约周五被评估为大幅下跌，共下跌15美分/磅（330美元/吨）。

苯乙烯合同被拖欠一个月。

ICIS价格数据显示，自2008年11-12月合同价格下跌超过43%以来，合同价格下跌30%是单月跌幅最大的一次。

市场受到持续疲软的衍生品需求的拖累，但近期的下跌趋势因欧佩克和俄罗斯之间的价格战刺激原油价格大幅下跌而放大。

原油价格的大幅下跌也受到需求骤减的推动，因为在疫情期间，除了基本服务外，该国大部分地区已经开始实施管制。

3月份苯现货价格下跌，因为疫情影响继续压低全球原油价格。4月份苯合约下跌超过50%，这也对苯乙烯价值造成压力。

US March styrene contracts were assessed at a significant decrease>Styrene contracts are assessed>The 30% decrease in the contact price is the sharpest>The market has been weighed by persistently soft derivative demand, but the recent downward trend has been amplified by sharp decreases in crude oil prices, spurred by a price war between OPEC and Russia.

The sharp drop in crude prices has also been driven by the sudden demand destruction as much of the country has shut down except for essential services amid the coronavirus outbreak.

Spot benzene prices dropped in March as the pandemic continued to push down global crude values. April benzene contracts fell by more than 50%, which also pressured styrene values.
