美国石油导向钻机数量减少34部，至258部，去年同期为802部。天然气导向钻机数量减少了1部，至79部，比去年同期减少了106部。

在主要的石油和天然气生产州中，德州钻机数量下降幅度最大，共减少了23部，至150 部。

新墨西哥州和北达科他州的钻机数量各减少4部，分别至66和16部。路易斯安那州钻机数量减少3部，至35部。俄克拉荷马州钻机数量下降了1部，至12部。

本周有8个州钻机数量保持不变：宾夕法尼亚州23部、科罗拉多州8部、俄亥俄州8部、西弗吉尼亚州7部、加利福尼亚州5部、怀俄明州4部、阿拉斯加3部和犹他州0部。

Baker Hughes: US rig count down 35 units to 339

The US drilling rig count fell by 35 rigs to reach 339 rigs working for the week ended May 15, according to Baker Hughes data. The count is down 648 units from the 987 rigs working this time a year ago.

The number of rigs drilling align="justify">US oil-directed rigs decreased by 34 from last week to 258 units. A year ago, 802 units were drilling for oil. Gas-directed rigs fell by 1 to 79 rigs, 106 fewer than were drilling for gas a year ago.

Among the major oil and gas-producing states, Texas saw the largest drop in rigs. At 150 rigs running, the count is 23 fewer than the week prior.

New Mexico and North Dakota both saw a 4-unit decrease in rigs week over week to reach 66 and 16 rigs running, respectively. In Louisiana, 3 fewer rigs were running for a total of 35 units for the week. With 12 rigs running, Oklahoma saw a 1-unit decline.

Eight states remained unchanged this week, namely Pennsylvania, 23; Colorado, 8; Ohio, 8; West Virginia, 7; California, 5; Wyoming, 4; Alaska, 3; and Utah, 0.

Canada’s rig count is down 3 units for the week. At 23 rigs, the count is 40 fewer than the 63 units drilling this week a year ago. Oil-directed rigs in Canada remained unchanged at 7 for the week. Gas-directed rigs in Canada decreased by 3 units to reach 16.
