川崎汽船开始建造LNG为燃料的汽车运输船

日本造船厂川崎汽船（K线）已经开始建造一艘以液化天然气为燃料的汽车运输船。

川崎汽船周四表示，该汽车运输船的订单是在2018年12月交给日本今治造船（Imabari Shipbuilding）的。据该公司称，该船将于2020年秋天完工。

该船长199.9米，宽约37.2米，可装载约7020辆车辆。

2015年，川崎汽船制定了长期的环境管理愿景，最大限度地减少业务活动对环境的影响。

2016年2月，该公司推出了名为Drive Green Highway的环保旗舰车，这是一艘搭载了新一代环保技术（如节能技术和SOx洗涤器）的汽车运输船。

川崎汽船公司表示，在公司的《2050年环境展望》中，该公司设定了将二氧化碳排放量减少一半的目标，并将目前消耗的大部分能源替换为新能源，而这艘最新的液化天然气燃料船将成为实现这些目标的下一代环保型汽车运输船。

K Line begins construction of LNG-fuelled car carrier

Japanese shipbuilder Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha (K Line) has begun the construction of an LNG-fuelled car carrier vessel.

K Line said align="justify">The vessel will be 199.9 meters long, about 37.2 meters wide, with around 7,020 vehicles loadable.

In 2015, K Line formulated a long-term environmental management vision with the aim of minimizing all environmental impacts generated by our business activities.

In February 2016, the company launched an environmental-friendly flagship called Drive Green Highway, a car carrier vessel with the next-generation environmental technologies such as energy-saving technologies and SOx scrubbers.

In K Line’s Environmental Vision 2050, the company set the goal of reducing CO2 emissions by half and replacing the majority of energy currently consumed with new energy sources, and this latest LNG-fueled ship will be a next-generation environmental-friendly car carrier vessel for achieving these goals, the company said.
