Oil Temperature Control Valve

The lube oil system requires a thermostatic valve to control compressor oil temperature. A thermostatic valve is a three-way valve with a temperature sensitive element. As the oil heats, the sensing element opens the third port in the valve.

Ariel recommends a thermostatic valve with a 170°F (77°C) element. Install the valve in mixing mode to more directly control oil temperature into the frame
